Lippert-Unipol (LU) is one of the European market leaders in surface finishing activities in the segments of polishing and satin finishing. With more than 200 employees around Europe LU services customers with highly specialized Polishing Compounds, Buffs, Non-Woven Rollers and Brushes.
OSBORN International (OI) is a leading manufacturing, sales and service organisation specialized in high quality technical brushes for numerous applications. More than 550 employees throughout Europe service customers in Retail and Technology markets.
Jason Inc, Milwaukee, USA, is the shareholder of both Lippert-Unipol Tratamento de Superfícies Lda. in Portugal located in Brito-Guimarães and at the same time of OSBORN International Escovas Industriais, Lda. located in Canelas-Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
As both LU and OI Group are active in surface treatment throughout Europe in general and in Portugal in particular, we are pleased to inform you that as of December 12th 2007 our two Portuguese companies have been merged into one.
In accordance with the Portuguese regulations this merger was officially registered in the books with the name of the resulting company being "Lippert-Unipol Tratamento de Superfícies Lda". Our two strong brands will continue to be promoted in the marketplace. The name of the company will be most probably changed to OSBORN LIPPERT Lda. in the first months of 2008.
It is our firm believe that by joining our forces through this merger as well as through further upcoming initiatives we will be able to much better service further to our customers in the Portuguese Market.
