OSBORN presence in AMB exhibition, Stuttgart
The AMB (International Exhibition for Metalworking) took place from September 9th until 13th, 2008 on the new exhibition area in the vicinity of Stuttgart airport.
Osborn International showed highlights of its diversified product range on a 56 m² exhibition stand such as:
On the stand we demonstrated the processing of camshafts on a machine which the company MAVO kindly put at our disposal.
The interest in the fair was extremely high - even surprising in some cases.
More than 180 contacts are the result of intensive talks during these 5 days. Competent companies such as Daimler Chrysler, Gühring, ZF Zahnradfabrik (gear wheel factory) Friedrichshafen, Bosch (injection systems) etc. sent their staff to this exhibition. Practical solutions for various applications after cutting, drilling, lathing or cleaning and transport applications were discussed.
Our sales representatives - particularly Mr. Hermann Schäfer, covering this area of the country - will have a great deal to do in order to visit all interested companies and fulfill their requests.
The exhibition which was primarily implemented for the South German area will develop to a hub for metalworking in the medium-term even also worldwide. People from India, France, Belgium and Switzerland visited also our stand and this is just the beginning...
