Lippert-Unipol (P) and OSBORN International - Escovas Industriais, S.A. joined forces
Starting on September 18, 2008 this society is to be called OSBORN - UNIPOL, Lda.,
The Osborn International - Escovas Industriais, S.A. office in Canelas (Vila Nova de Gaia) was relocated at the end of September 2008 and from October 1st 2008 all activities will be dealt with from our facility at Brito - Guimarães. To ensure that our ongoing commitment to excellent customer service is maintained, field Sales contacts will remain unchanged.
Background a) During the year 2007, Lippert-Unipol (P) Tratamento de Superfícies Lda acquired OSBORN International - Escovas Industriais, S.A. being on the 12th of December the same year, officialised the merger by the incorporation of OSBORN International - Escovas Industriais, S.A. in Lippert-Unipol (P) Tratamento de Superfícies Lda. This merger led to the transference of the whole assets of Osborn to Lippert Unipol in accordance with the terms of the article 116º of CSC.With the enrolment of the merge into the Portuguese Commercial Register the incorporated society (OSBORN International - Escovas Industriais, S.A.) was extinguished, having all the universal rights and duties being transmitted to the incorporate society (Lippert-Unipol (P) - Tratamento de Superficies Lda).
b) September 18th, 2008 the General Assembly of Lippert-Unipol (P) Tratamento de Superfícies Lda decided to change the official designation of the society into Osborn-Unipol Lda., thus providing a common identity to both merged companies which share the same facilities as of now
